Sergei Prokofiev´s Romeo And Juliet was premiered in Brno, Czechoslovakia, on December 30, 1938. It was his first attempt at writing a full-length ballet, and has earned its place alongside Tchaikovsky´s Swan Lake,The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker as the greatest full length ballets ever.
